Case Studies in Conservation and Preservation Committee

keywords : Conservation

Case studies in conservation and preservation: The case studies will allow methodological and technological conclusions to be drawn that will help guide institutions possessing such works on the strategies to follow in the acquisition and long-term preservation of the works. Many of the case studies will be conducted in museum facilities and restoration laboratories or in the DLF offices, and will provide students with an opportunity to complete work and research internships in the company of professionals. The studies will also make a significant contribution to heritage institutions that are lacking resources by allowing work to be conducted on their collections. These case studies will extend to the exhibition stage whenever possible.
